Director Civil Utility Infrastructure & Operations REGISTRATION: EDUCATION: B.A., Physics, Carson Newman College, 1992 B.S., Civil Engineering, Tennessee Technological University, 1995 M.S., Civil Engineering, Tennessee Technological University, 1996 WORK EXPERIENCE: Mr. Tucker is a civil engineer with over 15 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry. Serving as the Civil Utility Group Director, Mr. Tucker brings extensive experience in water and wastewater rehabilitation and the Capacity Management Operation and Maintenance (CMOM) program for utilities. Prior to moving to Knoxville in 2000, Tim worked as a consulting engineer in Birmingham, Alabama where he was involved in numerous sewer rehabilitation projects for Jefferson County Environmental Services. Prior to joining CCI, he worked for the Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB) where he was heavily involved in their PACE10 Program to reduce sanitary sewer overflows. He worked as the First Creek Basin Manager, was the Project Manager for the design and construction of four wet weather storage basins; and, was instrumental in the development of KUB’s Capacity Assurance Program. The last two years Tim was at KUB, he lead the Water Asset Management Team which managed the capital and operation and management needs for KUB’s water distribution and transmission system. |
