WORK EXPERIENCE:
Mr. Childers has over twenty-eight years of experience in the Civil Engineering profession, with primary emphasis in transportation and public works. He has spent the past eighteen years working as a consulting engineer in East Tennessee. Prior to that, he worked in Traffic Engineering with the City of Knoxville, the Florida Department of Transportation and Palm Beach County, Florida. He also serves as an adjunct instructor with the University of Tennessee Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, teaching Roadway Geometric Design.
