Project Description:

Survey and design for the reconstruction of a 3.54 mile section of two lane state highway through a rapidly developing suburban area.  The improvements include a five lane curb and gutter section with improved horizontal and vertical alignments, as well as an extensive underground drainage system, the replace-ment of five box bridges, and the installation of two traffic signals.  One of the major design challenges presented by this project is the extensive number of residential and commercial properties abutting the roadway, with the associated driveway and access needs.  (Project currently under construction.)
