Project Description:

Bowling Green Municipal Utilities called upon Cannon & Cannon to fast track the design of a stone veneer and ornamental fence for their 30 MGD water treatment plant.  The treatment facility is located along the historical riverwalk district of Bowling Green where the city has invested in significant improvements to parks and a riverwalk in areas adjacent to the plant.  To meet schedule needs of the historical district, CCI prepared plans and bid documents within 2 weeks of a notice to proceed for Phase 1 of the project including 480 linear feet of masonry wall with stone veneer, columns with decorative light fixtures, and ornamental aluminum security fence.  Construction of Phase 1 was completed in October 2006.  CCI is now preparing Phase 2 and 3 design documents for the remaining 1,400 linear feet of fence including a new plant entrance design.
