MARKETING COORDINATOR/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

CCI is seeking a Marketing Coordinator/Administrative Assistant, with a communications specialty, to join our team. We are in search of a creative communicator who is committed to the engineering design community, thrives in an environment of collaboration, and demonstrates leadership and entrepreneurial spirit. Working with us, you will:
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to Owners/Directors
  • Support the implementation of corporate identity initiatives, direct mail programs and social media
  • Coordinate with management and technical staff to develop and analyze Request for Proposals and Request for Qualifications; familiar with 330 submittals
  • Coordinate social media updates for Facebook
  • Coordinate company events
  • Assist with writing and editing marketing support materials (qualifications packages, proposals, presentations/interviews, etc.)
  • Retrieve and update resume/projects/staff information from Database
  • Produce high quality work products, in terms of accuracy, messaging, content and compliance with requirements
  • Work collaboratively with fellow team members to continuously enhance deliverables and the working environment
  • Conduct and coordinate a range of company and marketing support activities as directed
  • Assist with answering phones
  • Prerequisite:
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in marketing for the A/E/C industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • An Associate’s degree in Business or Graphic Design
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, WordPress and Acrobat are desired

Project manager/senior project manager

Position Requirements

This position reports to the Community Development Group Director and requires, as a minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited school and 7 years’ experience. PE (Professional Engineer) registration with the State of Tennessee or Kentucky or the ability to obtain within one (1) year is preferred.    This position will be performed in our Knoxville office location.

senior electrical engineer/group leader

Due to our rapid growth, we are seeking to hire a Senior Electrical Engineer/Group Leader for their growing Electric Utilities group, located in Knoxville, TN.   This role will be responsible for augmenting our Electrical Utilities team, as well as expanding our market share throughout the Southeast region.  The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit with 15-20 years of electrical design engineering experience with a focus on power.  The ability to market and expand into different sectors, as well as leading and creating a collaborative team is critical for the success of this role.

survey crew chief

Cannon & Cannon, Inc. is seeking to hire a seasoned Survey Crew Chief for our Knoxville, Tennessee office.   This position requires a self-motivated individual with experience conducting various types of field surveys, including construction staking. Successful candidate will be proficient with Conventional, GPS and Robotic equipment. This position reports to the Kentucky Operations Director.  The applicant should have, at a minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college.  A minimum of 10 years with water and wastewater projects is desired.  PE (Professional Engineer) registration with the State of Kentucky or Tennessee, or the ability to obtain within one (1) year, is preferred.  Experience in water and/or wastewater projects is required and stormwater, site design, and gas utility project experience is a bonus.  The employee will work in the Bowling Green, KY office.  However, the employee may assist with projects from our other offices.

transportation engineer – memphis office

Cannon & Cannon, Inc., one of the Southeast’s most trusted, experienced and nationally recognized engineering and consulting companies is seeking an honest, capable and uniquely qualified Project Engineer/Production Manager candidate to join our rapidly expanding Memphis office.

Cannon & Cannon, Inc., (CCI) an independently owned company with offices in Memphis, Knoxville and Bowling Green, KY seeks a multi-disciplined individual capable of designing roadway and roadway drainage design for urban highway improvement projects.  This individual will serve as the lead Project Engineer/Manager on TDOT and municipal roadway design and transportation projects. The position requires involvement with all aspects of Project Production; CADD production; schedule and budget; quality analysis and quality control. Active participation in professional societies relative to the industry is encouraged. Other tasks include expansion of client opportunities in West TN by assisting with business development activities.  Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.

position requirements

The position reports to the Memphis Operations Director.  The applicant should have, at a minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college.  A minimum of three to seven years with transportation project experience is desired.  EIT (Engineer in Training) or PE (Professional Engineer) registration with the State of Tennessee, or the ability to obtain within one (1) year, is required.  Experience in roadway and/or traffic signalization design projects is required; land development and/or traffic control project experience is a bonus. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microstation is expected. The employee will work in the Memphis, TN office and may assist with projects from other offices locations.
